Incredible India

Come… Experience Atulya Bharat!

When it comes to mystical and enchanting tales of the travel, one particular journey comes first in my mind. It is of the holy lake at narayan sarovar and the mystical shivling at Koteshwar.Located at the most western point in India, this shivling haws a lot of importance in the Hindu mythology.
The road to narayan sarovar in Kutch is full of colourful and vivid experiences. Located at about 140 kilometers from the port town of Mandvi, this holy lake of lord Narayan thought as one of the avatars of Lord Krishna is very famous and holds great respect in the Hindu mythology. We booked a comfortable Cab a day in advance for our journey to Narayan Sarovar. But there are other modes of transport available. To reach the place at lunch time, one must start early from mandvi at around 8 am. On the road to Narayan Sarovar, you will find many great places to visit such as the Ambe dham in godhra or the Vijay villas palace in Mandvi. So it is better to start early in case we have to take a detour.Located 3KM from Narayan sarovar is the holy temple of Lord shiva at Koteshwar tirth. The shivling at Koteshwar is one of the 12 jyotirling in India which hold the prime importance in the shiva mythology. One can also savour the experience on seeing the Indian Navy up close and personal. The Koteshwar is the most western place in India and is located right in the Kori creek just beside the all important Sir creek in the Arabian Sea.
